Both SDSU (a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution) and UC San Diego provide rich scientific and clinical training opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds. Beyond the essential elements of our program (research, clinical practica, coursework), we strive to communicate our respect for diversity and our commitment to a supportive and encouraging learning environment in many ways.

With the help of SDSU/UC San Diego JDP in Clinical Psychology students, we reimagined and reinvigorated a dormant Diversity Committee into a highly active, student-led committee. For more information about the JDP in Clinical Psychology Diversity Committee and its members, please visit our JDP Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee page.
