Note that this includes when you have graduated. Neither San Diego State University nor University of California San Diego award the Ph.D. in clinical psychology. That degree is only awarded by the joint program, and both universities are listed on the diploma. Representing your degree as coming from only one university, rather than the joint program, constitutes misrepresentation and could result in an ethical violation. Also, neither the Commission on Accreditation nor licensing boards have the individual universities listed as accredited and so representing yourself as only having received your degree from one institution may significantly delay your ability to become licensed.
