Attendance at all classes and activities is required and expected for JDP courses.
Valid excuses for missing class may include:
• Illness
• Personal Emergency
• Religious Holiday
• Presenting at a Professional Conference
Students are required to communicate with the course instructor(s) in advance for any planned absences and as soon as possible for any emergencies. It is the responsibility of the student to make up any missed assignments and course content while absent; this should be done in consultation with the course instructor(s).
Unless otherwise specified by university policies and/or the course instructor(s), in-person attendance is required and expected.
Course instructors may have more restrictive attendance requirements/policies. If so, these will be explicitly stated in the course syllabus.
