The Steering Committee policy on students obtaining extra income for additional work states:
The JDP requires full-time enrollment; part-time students are not permitted in the program. All students are supported via funding mechanisms that are consistent with .5 (half-time) work status. Students can pursue additional work for extra income at their own discretion. However, it is highly recommended that the work should be consistent with the training or educational needs of the student, and that students discuss all outside work plans and activities with their Guidance Committee. No outside work should be undertaken if it interferes with student progress in the program.
