The Epilepsy Foundation awarded N. Erkut Kucukboyaci, fourth year JDP student, the 2014 Predoctoral Research Training Fellowship for his upcoming research. The fellowship supports predoctoral students with dissertation research related to epilepsy, and aims to strengthen their interest in establishing epilepsy research as a career direction. Erkut will be investigating “Postsurgical Structural and Functional Connectivity and Executive Function” in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy under the mentorship of Drs. Carrie McDonald (primary), Terry Jernigan, Anders Dale and Evelyn Tecoma. Congratulations Erkut!
