Congratulations to JDP student McKenna Williams (entering class of 2019) who won the “ISTAART Student Poster Award for Basic Science and Pathogenesis and Drug Development” for her poster titled, A twin analysis of Alzheimer’s disease brain signatures and abnormal white matter, at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in Amsterdam in July 2023!

“The Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) is the largest and most influential international meeting dedicated to advancing dementia science.” McKenna’s faculty mentor Dr. William Kremen, noted that the AAIC had over 7,000 in person attendees and over 3,000 virtual with more than 5,600 abstracts this year.
