The American Psychological Association (APA) 2017 Convention is held in Washington, D.C. on August 3rd-6th. Annually the APA Division 40 Awards Committee reviews abstracts for scientific merit and impact. Mariam Hussain’s abstract “Age-Related Differences on the Virtual Reality Functional Capacity Assessment Tool (VRFCAT) in HIV-Infected (HIV+) and/or Methamphetamine Dependent (METH+) Adults” was judged to be the number one submission this year! Ms. Hussain received an invitation to present her research at the “Division 40 Awards Session” featuring other excellent posters and papers. Congratulations Mariam!
