Bio

Ify’s research interests center on the development and dissemination of culturally-grounded behavioral interventions for ethnic minority youth with externalizing behaviors, particularly through the identification and leveraging of sociocultural protective factors.

Ify’s research is grounded in cultural sensitivity, community partnering, and mixed methods research. The overarching goal of Ify’s research is to improve access to effective and culturally-responsive behavioral health care for ethnic minority youth.

  1. Ify is a cat mom and avid home baker who mostly shares the scores of cookies, macarons, and other baked goods created in their kitchen with friends and family, but has been known on occasion to cater up to 200 cookies for special events.
