Out of 825 nominees in the U.S. and Canada, Emma Parrish, a doctoral candidate in the SDSU / UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, is one out of 110 doctoral students to be awarded a $20,000 Scholar Award from the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

By receiving this award, Emma is being recognized for her academic achievements and her potential to make significant contributions to her field and to society.

The P.E.O. Scholar Awards supports women who are changing the world through the pursuit of a doctoral-level degree by providing them with merit-based awards to assist in the success of their educational goals.
