JDP student, Maya Santoro received a Veterans Medical Research Foundation Summer Internship Award sponsored by Union Bank. The award will help support her work with JDP faculty Mark Jacobson and Terry Cronan. They are conducting a pilot study to examine the effects of a behavioral therapy protocol (graded exposure) in reducing fear of movement and pain in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome.
