Bio

Deepa’s research interests are oriented around improving population mental health with an emphasis on understanding needs and bridging gaps in health delivery and access for women, gender and sexual minorities, and people of color (using a social determinants lens that incorporates positive health and prevention).
She is also interested in exploring the potential and risks posed by technological innovation in the health space and in translating evidence-based findings into practice and policy.
