Maria Kryza-LaCombe (mentor: Dr. Jillian Lee Wiggins) won the Student Scholarship at the 2016 International Symposium for Contemplative Studies. This scholarship supported Ms. Kryza-LaCombe’s attendance at this conference, which draws experts from around the world. At this conference, she was able to learn about current brain imaging research in emotion and meditation.
