2nd year Stanley Liang shared his research at the SDSU Student Symposium. His presentation was titled “Does choline increase the capacity for exercise induced neurogenesis following developmental alcohol exposure?”
1st year Ryan Shriver’s presentation at the SDSU Student Symposium was titled “Investigating Neurobehavioral Indices of Cognitive Control Dysregulation as a Function of Binge Drinking History and Biological Sex.”
2nd year Karen Thomas presented her talk at SDSU Student Symposium. Her presentation was titled “Postnatal Choline Supplementation as a Treatment For Prenatal THC and Nicotine Exposure on Spatial Learning and Memory in Rats.”
1st year MA student Judy Mahmalji presented her poster “Early Brain Connectivity Patterns Predict Later Language Skills in Preschoolers with ASD” at the 2023 SDSU Student Symposium. She competed against students across all CSU campuses and was awarded CSU Grad Slam People’s Choice Winner!
1st year MA student Shea O’Donnell presented at the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health’s Annual Meeting in St. Louis in March 2023. Their poster was titled “The Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on the Experience of Endometriosis”.
Liana Manriquez is a 1st year MA student who presented at the SDSU Student Symposium in March 2023 in San Diego, CA. Her poster presentation was titled “Prenatal Nicotine Exposure Decreases Anxiety-Related Behavior in Adolescent Rats”.
1st year MA student Isabel Leon presented her research poster “Interventions for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: The Effects of Exercise and Choline Supplementation on Learning and Memory” in March 2023. She presented her research at the SDSU Student Symposium in San Diego, CA.
Matthew McArther is a 1st year MA student who presented at the March 2023 SDSU Student Symposium in San Diego, CA. His poster was titled “Pandemic Related Disruptions in Non-Parental Care and Vocabulary in the First 5 Years”
