JDP student Sarah Mills, mentored by Dr. Elizabeth Klonoff and Dr. Vanessa Malcarne, presented her poster titled “Acculturation and the Tobacco Retail Environment: A Multi-level Study in Hispanics/Latinos” at the 13th Annual American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) Conference held March 3rd-5th in San Diego, California. The poster was selected as one of the best posters that reflected the conference theme of achieving health equity in psychosocial cancer care. The poster used multi-level modeling to examine the relationships among acculturation, the tobacco retail environment, and tobacco use in Latinos.
