What is the most rewarding part of graduate school?

Learning (a lot of) new skills in a very short time (both from courses and my lab). – Yifan Yuan

Seeing my own growth interpersonally and cognitively. I’m getting better at connecting and making friends, speaking and chatting in English. And I love to see how I am slowly building on my thesis, and be able to share my knowledge about my area with others, and I love what I’m studying in my lab can actually help students, and help my future career. – Chih-An Bian

Fitness classes at the ARC have helped with anxiety and I make sure to attend as many sporting events as possible since we get free tickets! – Belen Gamino
