Dr. Joe Price, a Professor in the Department of Psychology, has been awarded the Knights of the Roundtable Award by the Family and Youth Roundtable of San Diego (FYRT). FYRT is an independent family and youth led organization whose foundation is to build an interconnection between the families and youth receiving services and the public child family-serving agencies that serve their communities, such as: Children’s Mental Health, Juvenile Justice, Education, and Child Welfare.
This award, known as the Valiant Knights Award, is presented to a researcher or organization whose findings have helped set a foundation for improving the services offered to children and helped improve their quality of lives. Their thoughtfulness is unparalleled and their commitment is equally as impressive.
