TedStarfishAWARD

Dr. Edward Riley was awarded the Starfish award at the 6th International Conference on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), which meets every 2 years in Vancouver, Canada. The award goes to a researcher who has made a great impact on the field. It is a great honor because the meeting is attended, not only by members of the Canadian Parliament, researchers, but also clinicians, families and individuals with FASD. Dr. Riley writes that this award “was very special to me” due to the fact the recipient is selected by individuals impacted by FASD.  It recognizes the significant personal and scientific impact Dr. Riley has had on the field and community of people with FASD.
