Georgia Meyer Photo

Georgia Meyer is a fantastic example of the caliber of the students in our department. She is an ambitious, focused, high achieving student who has leveraged those attributes toward the achievement of some impressive outcomes. When she graduates this year, she will have managed to complete all her undergraduate work in 3 years (the average student takes 4.5 years). For many who accelerate their time to graduate, they do so at the expense of a good preparation for and smooth transition to the pursuit of graduate education. This is not the case with Georgia. She worked as a research assistant, she is published, and she has earned awards for her work. She balanced her coursework with extra-curricular work quite well as an SDSU student. Consequently and notably, she will start Law school at UC Davis on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship this fall.  Congratulations Georgia
