Congratulations to Taline Bicakci, she is the recipient of a Robert L Solso Research Awards for her presentation titled “Late-Life Depression and Olfactory Dysfunction: Implications for Alzheimer’s Disease Risk.” This is a huge accomplishment! To earn this award, an awardee needed:
- The first author on their poster or paper.
- The abstract received the top rating by three blinded reviewers.
- Taline will present her work in person at the WPA Convention in Las Vegas in May, 2025.
WPA had over 1367 submissions this year and there will be 25 student awards given this year, including Taline. That means that the abstract of research that Taline submitted was in the top 1.83% of all the abstracts submitted to WPA! That is a huge accomplishment.
Taline will be presented with a certificate and a check at the WPA Awards Ceremony, Friday, May 2nd, at 4:00pm.
