Bio
Dr. Jao Keehn’s research focuses on the development of neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying sensory (visual, auditory, tactile, haptic) and multisensory functioning in children with and without autism. Her work currently involves the use of multimodal imaging techniques, including task-based and functional connectivity MRI among others, to examine the neural, biological, and behavioral links between sensory development, salience processing, and stress responsivity in autism.
