Outstanding Graduating Senior in Psychology Award Recipient – Melanie Johnson

Please join us in congratulating Melanie Johnson, the award recipient for Outstanding Graduating Senior in Psychology for 2025. Melanie is a National Institute on Aging Advancing Diversity in Aging Research Program Scholar and a Sally Casanova Predoctoral Scholar. Since 2022, she has worked at the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center with David Salmon at UCSD, completed an extramural summer research program at Stanford University, and has been involved in multiple conference presentations and publications. In addition to her numerous academic achievements, Melanie has also been devoted to service in the community.

Melanie selected Dr. Terry Cronan as her most influential faculty member. Congratulations to both Melanie and Terry!
