What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out in this Master’s program? Network with professors and use the resources available to you on campus. Lean into your support systems, and avoid making linear paths because rarely do things unfold linearly. Lean into your passions and interests, and the rest will follow.

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out in this Master’s program? Graduate school is truly a marathon. At times, you will wonder how you got this far and if you have what it takes to achieve your goals. Always trust that you know way more than you think and you most definitely belong. You’ve got this!

What is the best advice you would give to someone just starting out in this Master’s program? Make sure to take advantage of as many opportunities as you can while still in school and have support from the MA program! (I.e. get involved in lots of research projects- you don’t know which one will be most relevant during PhD/job interviews)
