Bio

Dr. Catley’s research focuses broadly on health behavior change with a focus on the development and evaluation of interventions, particularly for marginalized communities. He has conducted numerous NIH funded RCT’s to evaluate health behavior change interventions for smoking, medication adherence, and dietary change.

Much of this work incorporates principles of Motivational Interviewing and includes research to understand the mechanisms underpinning behavior change. His collaborative work spans the biospsychosocial continuum including studies at the policy, community, clinical, and neural level.
