(SDSU)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past 40 years, San Diego State University and UC San Diego\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/psychology.sdsu.edu\/doctoral\/clinical\/\"><strong>Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a>has fostered the next leaders in the field. This innovative program has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) since 1990. As a testament to the program\u2019s quality, the JDP was recently re-accredited by APA for the longest possible period of 10 years, which will take the program to it\u2019s 50<sup>th<\/sup>anniversary!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The unique collaboration between SDSU\u2019s Psychology Department and UC San Diego School of Medicine\u2019s Department of Psychiatry provides specialized training in behavioral medicine, neuropsychology and experimental psychopathology. Throughout the program, students\u2019 learning extends beyond the classroom curricula as they conduct research, participate in hands-on clinical training, and connect with mentors at SDSU, UC San Diego and partner institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JDP students, faculty, and alumni are productive scholars and skillful clinicians.
